Raise money for The Horse Trust with your old 'phone

on a scheme to raise money for The Horse Trust by donating your old
mobile phone for reuse in emerging markets.
Information from Peebles Cycling Club
Peebles Cycling Club have contacted us to advise that a
calendar
showing their events is available online - they recently had an
incident in which a horse was spooked by a road race near Stobo, and
they are keen that we horsey folk should have the information to allow
us to avoid their regular weekly races in future! Please pass on the
address to any friends who ride in the area, but who don't read the
PDRC website.

Team members now required!
PDRC are now seeking members who would like to take part in the Area 1
RC team events throughout the summer months from Novice to Open, Prelim
to Medium. Further details are on the

Club Merchandise
PDRC have for sale club Polo shirts and Hooded tops, in
bottle green with the PDRC logo in gold on the front left hand
side. Polo shirts cost £15 and Hoodies £20.

Helpers Award
We are very pleased to announce that Helen MacNeil has kindly provided
a very generous prize for our annual Helpers Award, which will be
presented at the AGM. It’s a £100 voucher for
Stobo Castle Health Spa to
let you take yourself away and be pampered for the day after a hard
year competing, or just generally a hard year!
This is a great prize and we hope it will encourage more of you to come
forward and offer your assistance at our events, as we can’t run them
without you. So if you can assist at any of the
forthcoming events for the whole day or half a
day (the longer a length of time you help, the more points you get!)
